Since 1992, Alberta Recycling has managed the province’s Tire Recycling Program and is governed by provincial regulations and bylaws which can be found here

This section provides Suppliers with up-to-date information related to the Tire Recycling Program including general program information, applicable forms, announcements and policy changes.

Supplier Registration Application

Anyone who sells, distributes, manufactures, supplies or imports designated tires in, or into Alberta, is required to register with Alberta Recycling. If you are currently supplying tires or will be supplying tires in the future and are not already registered with the Program – please download and complete the following application and email it to [email protected]

Alberta Recycling provides point of purchase materials including brochures and posters for tire Suppliers to give their customers should they have any questions about the environmental fees or the Program.
